My design practice is a process of empirical testing and retesting, prototyping and refining. These were design tests along the way to a final structure made of glass and wood. So often, each step of the process results in pieces that have a beauty all their own. Here I was testing color, light, connections and formal qualities. I demonstrated in these pieces the workability of what would become larger sculptural pieces.
