I continue to explore the juxtaposition of geometry and organic shapes implied by brushstrokes. I am interested in the articulation of variations within a color and the visceral reaction elicited by sharp contrast. My intention in this work is to construct a space where something unexpected may occur. A change in light and angle will alter that space so that it can be experienced in a new way with each visit. The objects that are placed within it suggest movement and conversation, a dialogue with each other and with the viewer.
