Erik Erikson, the German-American developmental psychologist, regarded culture and history as “giving life to the mind, as the medium within which shapeless biological potentials can be transformed into a distinctly human life.” Restoration of Harmony is a work that combines the traditional Korean Bongsan mask dance with a variety of ideas about my mother’s memory. The way to form the image by attaching the cloth was a technique that my mother used to repair her underwear—placing another cloth above or beneath to save money. I love Korean culture.

Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in 2020 in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so for another year, through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
