My art is like jazz—a skilled improvisation, fueled by internal and external stimuli, that creates a piece. I prefer that the viewer takes away an emotion or feeling from my work. Sometimes I accomplish this through installation and site-specific pieces; this time I’m doing it in a more personal way by creating a small intimate space for one brave viewer at a time to experience.
