2010, Pigmented ink jet, 40"w x 30"h
My project starts with a deep and abiding love of nature, the land, its flora & fauna and the stories it can tell. I use the landscape as a starting point that is inclusive of the traditional “straight” photographic landscape as well as a large number of “iterations” of those images by manipulations via hand work (painting and drawing on top of the image) and abstraction through manipulation via software. My reach may well exceed my grasp in trying to cover so much ground (pun intended). Ultimately, it is my hope that the resulting images call into question the viewer’s concepts of beauty, the veracity of the photographic image and the nature of perception.

Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in 2020 in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so for another year, through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
