What happens when an artist gives up creative control? I wanted to give up as much control as possible as I made these panels. I committed myself to the process of creating a work of beauty without having control of the final outcome, and the end result was magnificent. The paint did whatever it wanted to do and ended up creating something I never could have created on my own. In a way, this painting painted itself.
