My intention with this project was to create something that is visually interesting and thought-provoking without having a significant underlying meaning. The sky dancer is a uniform subject used as a personification documenting his journey through an environment that isn’t typical for an inflatable tube man. Contrasting the subject with the environment gives the image some humor and depth while maintaining the lighthearted intention of the project. This idea was inspired by the music video “Bother” by Les Sins and from Adam Ekberg’s photography series titled Orchestrating the Ordinary.
