oil on canvas, 2014, 36"w x 24"h
This is actually a photo-based painting of my second koi pond, but the fish are the same three originally purchased in 1995. They were successfully transported from Dallas to this pond in the Texas Hill Country. They hardly seemed to notice the difference! The pond has also been home to frogs and dragonflies from time to time. Water is circulated from an upper level to a lower level by a waterfall. The sound of the moving water is pleasing to me and helpful to the inhabitants of the pond. Painting the fish that I have observed for so many years is always a challenge.

Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in 2020 in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so for another year, through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
