I often explore site-specific, ephemeral projects by using non-art objects such as broken cars, which repurpose the wasted materials and intervene with the site. The cars, immediately destroyed, were painted where they were found in the junkyard in Zanjan, Iran, and colored to highlight their dented forms. These specific cars are widely used throughout Iran by average citizens. The cars, broken and damaged, tell stories of the incidents of their pasts through their scratched surfaces and scrunched bodies.
