Despite all the medical warnings, propaganda and my better judgment, I can’t say I have any “beef” with McDonald’s. The Big Mac has always been there for me. When I abandoned years of vegetarianism, in college, after a long hard day, it was the first thing I turned to. And the haters can hate all they want, but it was good, really good. Now, with long days at school followed by long nights at home with my two children, Happy Meals, as unhealthy as they are, have been as good as gold for avoiding the usual dinnertime complaints.
