This series of portraits displays the journey of my choices. My fundamental interest is the triangle. It can seem like a balanced shape when right-side up, but not when upside down. Through repeating, dividing, and distorting the shape I create new shapes. This shows the constant and infinitely expanding choices in my daily life. Reflecting my real life situations, the shapes change according to different alternatives and unexpected limits. It’s parallel to my options changing as I age and consider various alternatives to the choices in my daily life. These choices define who and where I am in my life.
