Working in multiples is healing. It’s healing to produce an abundance of pieces by using a repetitive and efficient hand-building process. I am fascinated by the idea that while keeping my hands busy, I am able to clear my mind. This, combined with the endurance and dedication to complete each work, fuels my need to create installations that emulate the aesthetics of nature. Reflecting on the relationship between permanence and impermanence, I search for moments of balance in the breakdown of life while experiencing my own balance through a neurological response to a dedicated, repetitive process.
