When I stop paying attention to life, I become inspired. Beauty in the mundane, colour in movement, juxtaposing the elements of unnoticed life to spark imagination all become considered in my work. Often paired with an intimately personal story, my painting strives to appeal to the metaphoric distance between the eye and the mind and the soul. I paint for people just as much as I paint for myself.
