My art practice is a space were I can freely re-imagine the world around us. Utilizing sculptural and image-based works, I strive to create a dialogue that acknowledges the disparate and varied nature
of current art. By layering and juxtaposing oppositional modes of making and ideologies, a clear interpretation
of the work becomes muddied and the agency of the viewer is asserted. Ultimately I am interested in creating and sustaining these uncertain moments as a way to call into focus how we, as individuals and as a society, confront The Unknown. In this piece, an image of a palm tree has been manipulated to be taller than the tallest tree in the world.
