There is a girl that has been gone for some time, and the people that are used to her presence still imagine seeing her, like when they walk into the kitchen and assume she’s casually eating a bowl of warm oats. In a way, it puts her loved ones at ease, because it helps them cope, assuming the missing person is still there with them. I created a fragmented theme, allowing the blue underpainting to come through. This suggests an eerie calmness. As the memory is fading away, so are the fine details.
