This piece was born out of my last body of work during the stress of my graduate show. Using a similar form and logic of clasps intended to hold hot beakers, I attempted to create wire forms whose purpose was to hold the specific objects I was creating. In the end, I didn’t use the clasps and pins; nevertheless, I opened a point of curiosity and further exploration for myself. These pins and clasps are the first manifestations of what I will be working on in the coming months.
